Error ‘500’ appears when I try to edit one of my lists
I created a list with a single rule in the Filter: tags - has tag - expenses. I remember seeing a message about another list with the same name (it was not the case btw). I slightly changed the name of the list and hit Enter instead of clicking the button Create.
Since then I can neither edit that particular list (error ‘500’), nor delete it.
However I can successfully create a list with the same filter - editable and disposable, but the broken one remains.
Did anybody see the same error?
This is fixed, your list should open normally from the lists page, and you shouldn’t run into this problem again.
The bug happened on lists where the name of the list was written in all non-latin characters. The url slugs for lists are based on the name of the list so non-latin characters were getting regarded as invalid, which of course they are not.
I sometimes write in thai and brazilian portuguese but I didn’t catch this error because I was probably only testing list names in english. It’s a subtle bug, naming a list “Avião” (portuguese for airplane) would work because it contains latin characters, however “บ้าน” (thai for house) would not work because it is all non-latin and that was the case you ran into with your list name.
This is fixed now and you are free to use whatever characters you wish.
I’m trying to improve WingTask to work better across different cultures and languages so I’m happy to fix this.
Thanks
Thank you for your quick response and fantastic job!
