Two questions before getting hooked:

1 will the hosting remain free?

2 is there any data mining on our task data?

  1. Yes, I may introduce some pay offerings in the future but there won’t be a rug pull. WingTask offers a grandfathering of features. So what you have now cost zero and will remain zero (for you but in the future it may cost other new users).

  2. No, I’m against any form of sneaky data monetization, my business model if there is any is to make the app itself compelling enough that people who pay directly will feel like they are getting a deal, that’s what I’m trying to do. I assert that I’m trying to keep your data safe and that it won’t be shared with any third party. In the spirit of full disclosure the data on the server is readable and there is no way to prove it’s not being shared aside from my assertion that it’s not.
